Birdbath woman • earthenware 2014 • 14-49

I studied ceramics at Edinburgh College of Art, followed by post graduate studies in slip casting at Glasgow School of Art. I now live and work in the Scottish Borders.

I am inspired by Victorian Staffordshire pottery, North and South American folk art, and Latin-American magic realism. I hand model in earthenware and use underglaze colour and scraffito technique  with transparent glazes and gold lustre.

I also paint furniture and small boxes in a decorative and narrative style.

Please contact individual galleries for sales. Some of them also sell my work online.

Please contact me if you would like to commission an individual piece - I do not send work, so these would need to be collected from my studio.
