1) Go to your Documents folder and look for "My Games" -> "Skyrim"

2) Open both Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini (Notepad or Wordpad are fine) 

3) At the bottom of the [Grass] section add/alter this:

bAllowLoadGrass=0
bAllowCreateGrass=1
bDrawShaderGrass=1


This should fix the floating grass problem. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
