Keyboardist/Composer/Musical Director/Producer/Engineer Michael Hyde is a Los Angeles, California and Belize based Keyboardist, Composer, Arranger, Musical Director, Songwriter, and Producer. Michael has served as keyboardis for Jamaican Born Bob Marley’s son Ziggy Marley (Reggae Singer on TUFFGONG WORLDWIDE RECORDS), MD and keyboardist with African Artist/Singer Patience Dabany (Dabany Records), Ghanian Artist Rocky Dawuni, MD and keyboardist for Wailing Souls (Chaos Records/Sony), MD and keyboardist with Big Mountain (Giant Records/Warner Bros/BMG), keyboardist and studio musician with Willie Nelson, Keyboardist and session musician with Taj Mahal, R&B/Pop vocalist Pink, legendary R&B vocalist Chaka Khan, worked with Johnny Graham (legendary guitarist for Earth,Wind & Fire), legendary artist Dionne Warwick (legendary Singer), Jermaine Jackson (Pop/R&B Singer), and El Debarge (Pop Singer from the Debarge) and Tevin Camble. Michael has also lended his keyboard and musical skills to Pop singer, Donna Delory(sings backup for Madonna). He has also lended his skills as a studio musician and arranger for such movie soundtrack as “Vampire in Brooklyn” starring actor/comedian Eddie Murphy for Paramount Pictures as well as “Christmas With The Kranks”, Keyboardist for the Disney soundtrack song Akuna Matata (with Jimmy Cliff) from “The Lion King”. Synclavier programming for the producing team of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis for the song “The Best Things in Life are Free”, from the soundtrack of the  movie “Mo Money” (Sung by Luther Vandross and Janet Jackson). Michael has composed music and sound designed for commercials, for clients including Suntory Limited (Japan Commercial Co) and others. He’s done remixes for artist like John Ledgend, Snoop, T-Pain, Weezer, Ziggy Marley, Laurie Anderson, Youssou N’Dor, Alex Cuba, Missy Elliot, and many others.  He has traveled all across the United States, South America, The Caribbean, Asia, Africa, Indonesia, China, Japan, Canada, Malaysia, Israel, Morocco, Romania, Dubai, Tahiti, Bermuda, and Western Europe including Jazz Festivals in Finland and Sweden. He toured England and The UK(including Scotland, Ireland, Wales), as a keyboardist with many artists. Michael has received Awards three years consecutively in Los Angeles for musical works. Also, he has composed music for many other artists and musicians. Lastly, he is also a Dick Grove School without Walls Scholar and has been teaching music at several L.A. and Belize schools including, The Belize Music Institute(The Belize version of MIT) – Academy of Musical and Dramatic Arts, at NICH (Art Center) in the country of Belize, Central America. Michael’s upcoming credits will include composing songs for many new and existing artist and remixing project for John Legend and The Roots.He will be developing contents for kids for televsion and Podcasting episodes.
