Additional Charges Attendee Fee: The Civic Center charges for an attendee to be present for entire event if being held after normal business hours, which are Monday-Friday from 8-5. The rate is $15.00 per hour from open to close of facility. Catering Fee: Any event that serves food or beverage will be charged a 10% catering fee. The fee will be on the total sales food and beverage only, Labor fees and gratuities are not included.. This permits client use of catering kitchen and ice machine. Caterers and Clients are responsible for leaving the kitchen and equipment in proper order. A checklist of caterers and clients responsibilities will be provided by facility. Set-up Fee: $50.00-$100.00  This fee can be waived if client wishes to do set-up themselves Break-down Fee: $50.00-$100.00 This fee can be waived if client chooses to do break down of tables and chairs themselves  Additional Fees: Security Deposit - $250.00 Stage Rental - $250.00 Outside or Inside Hanging of Banners - $50.00 Dance Floor - $250.00 (24x33) additional sections are available for additional charge Bar Station - $25.00 Linens - $7.00 each Napkins- $.50 each Stage and Specialty Lighting - $25.00 and up Sound Technician- $100.00 and up Custom GOBOs- $125.00 Projector Screen- $50.00 Projector- $50.00 Podium and Microphone- $50.00 Ceiling Drop- $450.00 and up Scissor Lift with Operator- $50.00 per hour and up

Roseate Spoonbill The Roseate Spoonbill room is our 3,390 square foot West Hall. It adjoins the Redfish Room to make 11,985 square feet of good rental space. The amenities include an overhead projector and a 25 foot drop-down screen, dimming lights, and fluorescent lighting. This is a great room to hold a small banquet of up to 120 guests or a larger meeting of up to 500.

Redfish The Redfish Room is our main attraction with square footage of 8,525 feet. This room may be opened up to include the Roseate Spoonbill and the Blue Heron to become the Lighthouse Lakes room. It is the perfect room for banquets, conferences, trade shows, large meetings, and theatrical events. Amenities include a stage, stage curtains, stage lighting, carpeted flooring, fluorescent lighting, dimming lights, spot lights, gobo lighting capability, projector and 25 foot drop-down projector screen and dressing room. This room is our most sought after rental, seating up to 350 seated guests with a dance floor, or 1000 seated theatre style.
Blue Heron The Blue Heron room is our 3,390 square foot East Hall. It adjoins the Redfish Room to make 11,985 square feet of good rental space. This Hall has an overhead load-in door and its own lobby entrance or exit. The amenties include an overhead projector with screen, dimming lights, and fluorescent lighting. This is a great room to hold a small banquet of up to 120 guests or a larger meeting for up to 500.

Lighthouse Lakes Lighthouse Lakes is our largest combined space with a total of 15,375 squre feet. Two divider walls can be opened up to allow up to 600 guests, a concert for up to 2000 fans, a graduation ceremony, or a large conference. It has hosted gun shows, trade shows, boxing matches, beauty pageants, theatre events, and haunted houses. A central stage allows theatre style productions with stage lighting, spotlights, and drawn curtains to go along with it. This room has a dressing room to accommodate the bride or the artist. The video projector and 30 foot projector screen make for great PowerPoint presentations, web conferencing, superbowl parties, or great movie nights.

Speckled Trout The Speckled Trout is our South Meeting Room and has a very usable space of 1,053 square feet. This space adjoins the Courtyard and makes for a very accommodating banquet or meeting/banquet. It has a divider wall that joins the Dolphin Room and can open up to a larger space. This room has audio/visual capability, video projector with drop-down screen, dimming lights, and fluorescent lighting.

Dolphin The Dolphin Room is the north meeting room located adjacent to the Songbird Courtyard. It adjoins the Speckled Trout to make the Nature Trail Room. This room has 690 square feet and can seat up to 32 banquet style and 40 classroom style. It has audio/visual capabilities, dimming lights, and fluorescent lighting.

Nature Trail The Nature Trail room is a combined space of 1,743 square feet. This room has a divider wall that opens up to the Dolphin and the Speckled Trout rooms. The beautiful Courtyard adjoins this space to make a lovely accompaniment for a outdoor wedding or gathering. This room is the perfect space for meetings or banquets consisting of up to 60 people. Audio/visual is available along with dimming and fluorescent lighting.

Lightning Whelk The Lightning Whelk is our exquisite private Conference Room featuring a cherry conference table and leather chairs. The room seats up to 20 attendees and is a perfect addition to a conference or trade show. Amenities include Wi-Fi, projector with drop down screen, web conference capability, availability of continental breakfast service, and more. The Lightning Whelk is dedicated to Municipal Development Board officer and director Harlan Roberts. Harlan gave countless hours to the development and construction of the Aransas Pass Civic Center. It was with great pleasure that this stately room was dedicated in his honor.

Songbird Courtyard The Songbird Courtyard is our picturesque outdoor venue. The Courtyard is over 8,000 square feet and has a stage with sound and electrical hook ups for bands. Beautiful wrought iron lights, fencing, and gates complement the brick, concrete, and stucco exterior for a perfect balance of style and ambiance. The Courtyard is the ideal setting for an outdoor wedding and reception, live music, or outdoor trade show. The Courtyard opens to our parking lot for convenience and it connects to our Nature Trail room to make for an indoor/outdoor event. Add an addition of Courtyard drop ceiling lights for the perfect romantic location for any private party.

Facility OverviewThis 30,000 square foot facility hosted its Grand Opening in April of 2009. It is available to host an array of events ranging from Conventions & Meetings to Banquets & Weddings. The facility is located in a picturesque Gulf setting and features a divisible exhibition hall/ballroom of more than 16,000 square feet, approximately 2,000 square feet of meeting room space, and an outstanding Courtyard of nearly 12,000 square feet. It is designed to host meetings, conferences, trade shows, concerts, theatrical events, banquets, and receptions. The Aransas Pass Civic Center prides itself on being a smalltown facility with capabilities for exquisite events. We pride ourselves on service and style.
