As with the DAW mod, Soldberg's nation/flag pool and Anduril's mini mod are also embedded here. Both parts are very helpful for many modifications, and I thank them for that.

As with DAW, this modification also includes the river overlays from DMP Mod 1.0, which are just as helpful here as the entire DMP website, which unfortunately closed at the end of 2021.

As with DAW, parts of Messmann's AMULET mod are also included here. However, I have removed all elite units and deactivated the camouflage of the AT units.

Numerous figures from Bebro's mod and DMP's ‘ Pazifik Korps ’ mod have also been incorporated into the campaigns. Additional figures were provided by Guille1434, Birgeria, and Cavaron. The highly detailed figures of the various fleets created by Puma proved to be particularly helpful. Flag components by Arvidus were also added. Special thanks also go to Nico, arguably the most deserving and experienced modder on Panzer Corps, for the French and Russian translations of the campaign texts. Many thanks for these helpful contributions, which made my work much easier.

The ever-helpful pages of Wikipedia were also particularly useful to me in this project, as they made researching historical contexts considerably easier. From the second campaign onwards, an LLM was also used for text generation and to assist with research.

Motivation for mod creation

Even with this modification, the question remains as to why I undertook this work. After all, there are already the excellent ‘US Corps’ campaigns covering US troops and the mods by Bebro or DMP covering the Pacific War. In addition, there are other programmes that focus on the US involvement in World War II. In fact, I had just tried ‘Order of Battle’ in the Pacific War, but after a short time I was so disappointed that I finally put it aside. The programme has implemented a number of good ideas and is undoubtedly interesting. But for me, it also had some very annoying components that ultimately took away any desire I had to play it. Perhaps I've simply been playing Panzer Corps 1 for a little too long to be able to adjust to such turn-based games. In any case, the best way to get what you want is to create it yourself.

Another reason why I have chosen this particular topic is that the USA was the decisive factor in the course of the Second World War. With its entry into active combat, the clear decision in favour of the Allied side had been made. The Axis powers could have manoeuvred as skilfully as they wanted, but in the end, defeat was inevitable. The enormous production figures of the United States made the outcome of the war a simple arithmetic equation.

Such a crucial factor should therefore be given at least a little more prominence in the game Panzer Corps. In addition, the USA played a very complex role during the Second World War. The USA was involved in many battles in most theatres of war, which allows for highly differentiated campaigns.

However, the time factor has a limiting effect, as the USA did not enter active warfare until relatively late in December 1941. I have brought this forward slightly in order to take into account the actual involvement of this country, which had been providing increasing support to the United Kingdom since the summer of 1940 and later took over massive deliveries of materials to the USSR.

I hope that these campaigns, which will cover as many aspects of the US military campaign as possible, will add another interesting facet to the Panzer Corps programme.

All parts created by me are available to any other modder for free editing - be creative...
