Improving the patron experience is a primary goal of this campaign. We are taking a big next step in meeting the audiovisual expectations of modern audiences, while maintaining the exotic, old world charm of this historic venue. MBT's seats are an important part of its visual aesthetic. With 109,000 annual attendees and 37 events with crowds over 1,000 people last year alone, some of our seats are wearing out faster than we can repair them. Through purchasing a large stock of replacement parts this capital campaign will enable us to keep our seats looking and working great for many more years. Here's a look at the need and how our staff and volunteers go over the top currently just to keep patrons seated in the building all year long.
