Love Your Labor Day With This End-of-Summer Fun
Just because the kids are back in school doesn’t mean those Summer celebrations have to stop. Labor Day in Maryland means one last chance to party! So whether you love skipjack races, custom car shows, State Fair fun, or even jousting with the knights of the Maryland Renaissance Festival, we’ve got the 411 on Labor Day fun. Or, get out and do those things you’ve been meaning to do all Summer. Take the kids fishing. Learn to stand-up-paddleboard (SUP, for the cool kids….), scream your head off with Superman at Six Flags America, get out to The Yard and root the O’s into the playoffs, check out the baby birds on the farm, or just find your sandy sweet spot on the Maryland beach of your choice. We’ve put the list together. Now you just have to find your fave! |

'Tis the Season for Fresh Steamed Seafood
You probably don’t need us to tell you this. You could just follow your nose to the nearest crab feast or seafood festival— after all, it is September in Maryland. But we thought we’d give you some pro tips anyway. From the Baltimore Seafood Festival, to the Maryland Seafood Festival in Annapolis, and the National Hard Crab Derby & Fair where the state’s fastest crustaceans compete, you just can’t go wrong with Maryland seafood. Or skip all the hullabaloo and cut to the chase at your favorite crab shack or seafood hideaway. Here’s our list— you just need to bring a bib, a mallet, and an appetite. |
